Todd A. Elverson
Todd Elverson is a partner and founding member of Elverson Vasey, L.L.P. Todd has been
practicing in the areas of business and corporate litigation, real estate and property law, probate law,
estate planning and family law for over 32 years. He has achieved the AV Preeminent rating from Martinsdale-
Hubbell, the highest rating in legal ability and ethical standards possible.
Todd was born in Bloomington, Minnesota in 1956. He received his undergraduate education at
Drake University, graduating with honors with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Speech Communication
and Rhetoric. He received his Juris Doctorate from the Drake University Law School in 1981.
Todd was admitted to the Iowa State Bar Association in 1981. Todd has given several seminars on Advanced
Real Estate Law in Iowa at the National Business Institute. He is the author of “Procuring and Insuring Free and
Iowa State Bar Association (Sections on: Probate and Trust Law, Corporation and Business Law, Real
Estate and Title Law)
